Aficionados x Fine Drams Lot 92 is an old Cognac from Jean-Luc Pasquet. Distilled from grapes grown in the Petite Champagne region, this natural cask strength bottling comes to us at a very potent 61.4% ABV.
This cask powerfully demonstrated sweet frosting along with fruity notes like orange marmalade, blackberry, baked apples and figs. With less oak than Lot 73, this bright, fruity delight was a great yin to the yang of the mustier, more savory cask of Lot 73.
Selected at the same time as Lot 73 by a panel from the Aficionados Discord server, it was clear to the panel upon tasting that both casks were a must buy, so this cask was procured as well.
